What is the process of same day services?Individuals interested in receiving mental health or substance use treatment services can access a service eligibility assessment on a walk-in basis. No appointment is necessary and during this assessment it will be determined if you meet criteria for mental health or substance use services.

What should I bring?Items needed at your first appointment include: Insurance card (if applicable) Date of birth of the subscriber Proof of income for your household A list of medications you are currently taking Contact information for your Primary Care Provider Names of previous Mental Health service providers if applicable Please note: In addition to the above, clients seeking Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services are required to provide the following: Proof of income Proof of US Residency Proof of Kansas Residency (a VALID Kansas Driver's license serves as proof of residency.) Will insurance pay for my appointment? How is billing done?In order to assist in collecting payments on a client's behalf, and as a service to our clients, Spring River Mental Health and Wellness, Inc. is able to bill most insurance companies. Regardless of insurance coverage, clients are responsible for payment at the time services are rendered. Please verify with front desk employees to determine if your insurance provider is in Spring River Mental Health and Wellness, Inc. 's network for providers. After processing with the insurance carrier, the portion of the charge designated by the insurance carrier as patient responsibility is billed to the client.

Spring River Mental Health and Wellness, Inc. accepts: Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Commercial Insurance Tri-Care Medicaid Medicare Your insurance carrier will be able to confirm whether or not your provider is in network with Spring River Mental Health and Wellness, Inc. . After the insurance information is verified you may receive a telephone call from Spring River Mental Health and Wellness, Inc. to let you know what your expected portion of payment will be after insurance is billed.

What if I do not have insurance, do you have a sliding fee scale?"If you are uninsured and seeking services from Spring River Mental Health and Wellness, Inc. you may qualify for a sliding scale fee, which is based upon the income of your entire household including number of dependents. Please be prepared to furnish the most recent 90 day pay stubs for your household. If you have any questions please call our billing department and an Spring River Mental Health and Wellness, Inc. employee will be happy to speak with you regarding your specific situation.

How do I pay my bill?The amount of your insurance co-pay or the amount calculated for a sliding scale fee is due at each appointment. Spring River Mental Health and Wellness, Inc. accepts payments in the following ways: Cash Personal check Money order Debit or credit card (in person and/or by phone) Balance on account statements are mailed monthly, and due within 30 days.
