Spring River Mental Health & Wellness (SRMHW) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization devoted to making a difference in the lives of Cherokee County citizens. We continuously strive to enhance, promote and provide quality, professional behavioral health care and wellness opportunities to the children, adults and families we serve. We provide services from birth to the aging population. We have a long successful history of mental health and substance use service delivery to residents of Cherokee County.

Who is SRMHW and what does SRMHW do?
SRMHW is a nonprofit community mental health center located in Cherokee County, Kansas; with office locations in Columbus, KS and Riverton, KS. We provide services to all ages from birth to the aging population. We have a long and successful history of mental health and substance abuse service delivery to residents of Cherokee County.
What is SRMHW’s Purpose?
The purpose of Spring River Mental Health & Wellness, Inc. shall be to provide any or all of the following:
• To provide outpatient, mental health and substance use services.
• To provide rehabilitative services to individuals returning to the community from inpatient facilities.
• To provide consultative and education services to schools, courts, health and welfare agencies,
both public and private.
• To conduct, in collaboration with other agencies when practical, in-service training for students entering educational program information and research.
• To provide any other mental health or substance use services which may be authorized by the legislature of the State of Kansas.
