Child Psychosocial Rehabilitation

Pathfinders is a psychosocial rehabilitation group for children ages 5-18 years old. This program serves children and adolescents who have special behavioral and/or emotional difficulties and social skill needs. Our after-school program and summer program is designed to challenge these youth to achieve individualized goals while in a structured group setting. Pathfinders work on improving social skills, communication, problem-solving, anger management, self-control, emotion identification, increasing self-esteem, and positive peer interaction.

Through the generosity of The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas, our Pathfinders program received funding to obtain activity equipment for use during service delivery, as well as personal hygiene products that were distributed to youth in need. The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas hosts individual charitable funds created by donors who have a passion for giving back to their community. Grants from these funds assist people throughout Southeast Kansas and beyond. Call the Foundation at 620-231-8897 with questions about the Community Foundation.
